So yes I know my blog is a little off in some places...for some reason blogger doesn't like it when I use HTML codes but will fix it all when I get back...

Summer...

This summer has been short and BUSY! In May I moved back home, in June I started summer session 1 at college, and in July started summer session 2! Plus all kinds of family/Church stuff going on as well. I did great at college. It had been 4 long years since I had taken a college class so I was getting back in the hang of it and learning again to make myself sit down and study. In Summer 1 I got an A in my class and in summer 2 I got B's in both my classes! So I'm doing good! :) Also this summer Dad got a new job! Since his new job started in July and he couldn't quit his old job until the middle of August he has been having to work 2 jobs. It has been very early mornings and LONG nights. Good news is that this past Monday he is down to just the one job! Yay! Tomorrow I'm going to Dallas to spend a few days with Mom's college roommate Monya. We always have so much fun! I'm taking the train(yikes! never done this before) and then on Sunday Mom and another friend will drive up and we are all going to go see Mama Mia the musical in Dallas! Can not wait for that! Hope everyone has had a wonderful summer!

Not much to say...

It's Monday. I'm tired. Good news is I had my last day of getting up early for a while!!!!! :) I'm so excited! I will miss having school over with at 9am but I will not miss getting up at 5:30 and the crappy teacher I had. Can't wait to get a little extra sleep tomorrow. My dog Lola will be very happy too! I'm off to work on my speech...Have a great week!

Life is BUSY!

I'm still here just busy with life. Had a good visit in OKC. Got to see my friend Amanda. :) I miss her lots! I was bad and didn't stop by work to say hi to everyone there but there just wasn't time this trip. Maybe next time. Mom and I stayed downtown in Bricktown. We had a WONDERFUL hotel. I could have just stayed in the lobby all day. :) While we were there down in Bricktown they had a motorcycle convention going on. LOTS of motorcycles everywhere! Saturday morning we were packing up and I keep hearing this noise so I looked out on the street and there was a HUGE parade of them going by. Very fun! Tried to get a few pics for my dad but kinda hard from the hotel window. It was nice seeing my Grandparents as well. I know my Grandfather misses me lots. Mom and I left OKC on Saturday and then went to spend that night and Sunday with one of our good friends in Dallas. We had a great time with her!

I have just started a new school semester....yay! lol I'm taking speech and I can't wait for it to be OVER!!! 4 more weeks left! :) Speaking of school I'm off to go study. Will update this more later....

Trip to OKC!

First of all let me say HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!! Today is her Birthday. She and dad are on their way back from Houston. Tomorrow Mom and I will travel up north to OKC to see family. While I'm there I will get to visit my friend Amanda! I'm excited to see her! While we are staying in OKC we will be staying at this COOL place!! It is in downtown OKC in the heart of Bricktown! I have been in here once and it is just lovely. They have just done some remodeling so it should be wonderful to come back to and rest! :) Now your probably thinking about now...that looks so expensive to be staying in!!!! Well your right! The rates for this place for the room we will have start at $159.00 and go all the way to $199.00 a night! YIKES! That's scary well not really because this cool site got us the hotel for only $65.00 a night!! Yes that's right over $100.00 dollars less a night. For those of you who have not used this site before they have special rates you can pick out or you can name your own price. We named our own price for this trip. Just remember when you do the name your own price option you don't know what hotel your staying out until you pay for it(after you accept the offer). You can pick a location(city and then downtown or north and south) but you will not know your actual hotel until you accept the offer. So far for us we have had GREAT luck in getting WONDERFUL hotels!! It is now after midnight and I need to be in bed soon! I will try and take some pictures and post them when I get back. I might even be able to do a blog update while I'm gone. Have a great rest of the week!
