Trip to OKC!

First of all let me say HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!! Today is her Birthday. She and dad are on their way back from Houston. Tomorrow Mom and I will travel up north to OKC to see family. While I'm there I will get to visit my friend Amanda! I'm excited to see her! While we are staying in OKC we will be staying at this COOL place!! It is in downtown OKC in the heart of Bricktown! I have been in here once and it is just lovely. They have just done some remodeling so it should be wonderful to come back to and rest! :) Now your probably thinking about now...that looks so expensive to be staying in!!!! Well your right! The rates for this place for the room we will have start at $159.00 and go all the way to $199.00 a night! YIKES! That's scary well not really because this cool site got us the hotel for only $65.00 a night!! Yes that's right over $100.00 dollars less a night. For those of you who have not used this site before they have special rates you can pick out or you can name your own price. We named our own price for this trip. Just remember when you do the name your own price option you don't know what hotel your staying out until you pay for it(after you accept the offer). You can pick a location(city and then downtown or north and south) but you will not know your actual hotel until you accept the offer. So far for us we have had GREAT luck in getting WONDERFUL hotels!! It is now after midnight and I need to be in bed soon! I will try and take some pictures and post them when I get back. I might even be able to do a blog update while I'm gone. Have a great rest of the week!

Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's out there!! I got my dad a card and then a sham wow. For those of you that don't know what that is click here. I got one of these a LONG time ago when they were doing demonstrations of them in Walmart. They do work well and last a long time. After we got up and gave Dad his cards and gifts we went to Church and then off to eat lunch. When I got home it was homework time and I just got back from a nice walk. I'm hot and tired but it was good! Now it's time for whale wars so got to go. Later...

Long time no blog...

Well it has been a long time since I have done this! I will try to start my blog up again. Well see how it goes.. Things have changed in my life. One of them being I'm no longer in OKC. I moved back to TX in May. It was some what unexpected at the time but had I been wanting to move back home for a while just wasn't sure when it was going to happen. It was a VERY fast move but I'm glad to be back home! :) Another change is when I moved to TX I wasn't able to transfer with my job(Dillard's for those of you who didn't know) due to the hiring freeze they had. I had been with them for about 2 years and hated to leave. Good news is I can now reapply with them to try and get a job if I want one with them. Have to weigh the pros and cons of that! :) The final change is after 4 years I'm finally going back to college. I started out easy on myself with only taking 1 class this summer. It is going good so far! This fall sounds like it will be crazy because it looks like I will be going to two different colleges. One that is an hour away and the other being only 30 mins away. I'm happy to be getting this over with! :) I will try to blog more now that things have calmed down some. For now I'm off to bed...
